History & Philosophy

Monopole Group was founded by Adam Morris in 2023. Adam’s professional career began with Macquarie Bank in Sydney before moving to UBS as an advisor on the Exchange Traded Derivatives Sales Desk. After taking a sabbatical on his family’s cattle property in Northern NSW, Adam returned to university to study Viticulture before taking various wine production roles in Western Australia, South Australia, New Zealand, Tuscany and Bordeaux. While in Bordeaux, Adam completed a Masters of Business Administration with a major in Wine Marketing, under the mentorship of leading winemaking consultant Michel Rolland.

Monopole Group is boutique and always will be. Our engagements are chosen selectively to ensure our expertise translates into value for our clients. The volume of opportunities we have available at any one time will always align with our own standards for uncompromising customer service. If at any time we are unable to take on your property and give it our fullest attention, we will use our network of professional relationships to assist in finding the right agent or advisor for your property or business.

Adam Morris – Managing Director

Adam has held senior wine industry advisory roles with Rabobank in Australia and New Zealand and was General Manager of Bimbadgen in the Hunter Valley, a subsidiary of the listed property and hotel developer, Mulpha International. Prior to establishing Monopole Group, Adam ran the Vineyards by Christie’s specialist vineyard and winery brokerage service, part of the Christie’s International Real Estate business in Australia.

Adam holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance & Economics) from the University of Sydney, a Graduate Certificate in Viticulture from the University of Western Australia and an MBA (Hons)(Dux) in Wine Marketing from the Kedge Business School in Bordeaux.
